The Robotiq wrist camera and vision system is designed specifically for Universal Robots, and provides plug-and-play vision technology without the need for an external PC. The compact camera design fits on a UR robot’s wrist and offers direct connectivity to the controller, while also featuring software that is embedded with Universal Robot’s graphical user interface. The camera features a 5 MPixel CMOS image sensor that can achieve a maximum frame rate of 30 fps, a Caspian variable focus lens module from Varioptic and a focus range of 70 mm to infinity. The product is designed for use in such deployments as collaborative robots, automated assembly, and machine loading/unloading.
