Embedded computer from Teledyne DALSA is designed for multi-camera machine vision systems

Offering more memory resources, power-enabled cameraports and a small step-up in performance over the GV 3000, the GV 4000 from Teledyne DALSAis equipped with a Gen6 Core i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM. The system features four GigE camera ports that connect internally through independent data lanes to alleviate bandwidth bottlenecks and each port is expandable by using external switches to accommodate larger camera configurations. Individual camera ports can acquire at ~700 Mbps (~ 6 fps @ 5MPixel color). Additionally, the GV 4000 features multiple LAN, USB and RS232 ports for connecting networks, PLCs, PL-USBs and other peripherals.
