4K multi-camera system for NVIDIA Jetson TX1/TX2 launched by e-con Systems
Featuring three 4-Lane MIPI CSI-2 camera boards and a base board to interface with the J22 connector on a Jetson TX1 or TX2 development kit from NVIDIA, the e-CAM130_TRICUTX2 from e-Con Systems offers a 4K multi-camera solution for the Jetson TX1/TX2 processors.
The unit features three e-CAM137_CUMI1335_MOD cameras, which feature 13 MPixel (4208 x 3120) ON Semiconductor AR1335 CMOS image sensors with 1.1 µm backside illuminated pixel that can stream 4K at 30 fps in uncompressed YUV422 format, in both synchronous and asynchronous mode, in all three cameras at once. Cameras connect to the base board via customized micro-coaxial cables that feature connecting locks at both ends. Applications that the e-CAM130_TRICUTX2 can be deployed in, according to the company, include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), agricultural imaging, and drones.
