Embedded video interfaces from Pleora Technologies to be demonstrated at VISION 2018
At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Pleora Technologies will showcase its GigE Vision over NBASE-T embeddedvideo interfaces, the iPORT NTx-NBT25 and iPORT NTx-NBT50. The video interfaces transmit uncompressed GigE Vision-compliant images at speeds up to 2.5 Gbps (iPORT NTx-NBT25) and 5 Gbps over extended-reach, inexpensive Cat 5e cabling. Integrated support for the IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to synchronize image capture and imaging system elements, while an onboard programmable logic controller (PLC) lets users control external machines, make functional changes, adjust timing, or add features without requiring new hardware, according to Pleora.
