e-con Systems recently launched the e-CAM56_CUOAGX, a 5 MPixel MIPI CSI-1 color camera. The camera is equipped with a 1/1.8” Sony Pregius IMX568 backlit global shutter sensor and has 5 MPixel, 2432 x 2048 resolution, and 2.74 µm pixel size. With multi-ROI capture, it has a framerate up to 1164 fps. It has external trigger support to enable precise synchronization with multi-camera streaming. It comes with S-mount lens configuration.
The camera has three boards: camera module, adapter board, and base board. It is designed to and can connect up to four 5MPixel camera modules using 4-lane MIPI CSI camera connections supported by the Jetson AGX Orin development kit.
The camera is designed especially for machine vision tasks that require high resolution image captures of objects in motion at a high frame rate, such as industrial automation, robotics, smart traffic, and other similar applications.
