Teledyne DALSA Introduces New Frame Grabber Series
Teledyne DALSA has launched a new ultra-fast frame grabber series, the Xtium 3 PCle Gen4 series. This new frame grabber, which supports color and monochrome and area and line scan cameras, utilizes a PCle board with Gen 4 x 8 slot host bus and Camera Link interface. It has a CLJS X-protocol up to 7 lanes and a transmission rate of 72.187 Gbps. This enables maximum input data rates at cable lengths beyond 30 meters, and real time distribution of incoming data to up to 12 computers,
The frame grabber comes with such features as T2IR framework, multi-board synchronization, data forwarding, data conversion, and automatic TDI multi-planes alignment for up to four arrays. It is supported by Teledyne’s Sapera LT software SDKs and can run on Windows 11, Linux, Ubuntu LTS, Debian, RHEL, and Suse operating systems.
The Xtium 3 PCle Gen4 frame grabber is especially designed for embedded machine vision tasks done in high performance industrial applications.
