Experts from major companies in the machine vision industry will be featured speakers during the Association for Advancing Automation’s (A3) upcoming Advanced Vision and AI Conference, to be held Sept. 23-24, in Santa Clara, CA.
Some 25 speakers from a variety of automation companies are scheduled throughout the conference. Keynote speakers include Vincent Vanhoucke, distinguished engineer, Waymo (Mountain View, CA, USA); Alvin Clark, global developer relations manager, industrial and manufacturing, NVIDIA (Santas Clara, CA, USA); Torsten Kroeger, chief science officer, Intrinsic (Mountain View, CA, USA); Todd Matsler, senior director/GM-manufacturing segment, Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, CA, USA). Rashmi Misra, chief AI officer/board executive, Independent and Robert Huschka, vice president of education strategies, A3 (Ann Arbor, MI, USA) will conduct a keynote fireside chat session.
Additional featured sessions include Sparsh Gautam, computer vision engineer, Tesla (Austin, TX, USA) who will discuss sensor calibration and physical drift in real world vision systems and Jaron Kuppers, technology manager for robotics and computer vision, GE Vernova (Cambridge, MA, USA), who will discuss intelligent industrial inspection and AI.
In addition, the conference will offer a number of networking opportunities, including vendor exhibits and a reception.
