Senswork Inc., a subsidiary of Burghausen, Germany-based senswork GmbH, launched RemoteMOI XL, a system that can inspect products from up to 330 ft (100.6 m) away. The system comprises an inspection station with a remotely operable digital microscope. Using an X/Y axis system connected to a joystick, an employee can position the microscope over any point on the product to be inspected, such as a printed circuit board. A high-resolution full HD image is transmitted live to a monitor up to 330 ft away. The system stores up to 3 memory positions in the X and Y direction. The digital microscope offers user-friendly options such as zoom abilities and different illumination settings. Other camera parameters also can be adjusted remotely. The system can be used directly on the production line.
