SERCOS is the IEC 1491 standard that offers an open, digital alternative to analog or proprietary interfaces between motion controls and drives. The DSP-104-SERCOS features an on-board DSP that performs calculation-intensive motion functions while off-loading non-real-time functions to the host. Additional features include eight channels of 12-bit ADC for jogging and dedicated I/O ports for TTL-level control.
