The KineView image-capture and analysis desktop imaging system comprises a 1000-frame/s CCD camera head, computer, frame grabber, power supply, RS-170 monitor, lens, and tripod. Captured images can be viewed in forward or reverse or single step or real time and stored as TIFF files. Pre- or posttrigger image capture can be manually or electronically started using the computer keyboard or the RS-232 input. Options include a strobe, lights, and lenses.
