SCARA robots handle small parts
The EC250 SCARA four-axis robot provides a horizontal reach of 250 mm (9.8 in.), a 120-mm (4.72-in.) Z-stroke, and a payload lift of 6.6 lb. Weighing less than 30 lb, it can spin a part at up to 2000°/s. The EC250c robot is a Class-10 clean-room version for bare die handling and hard-disk assembly. Both robots are ANSI and CE safety certified, come with ac servo motors with absolute encoders, and are compatible with the company`s Vision Guide Integrated Robot Vision system. A single-box 16-task-multitasking robot/workcell controller provides 32 digital I/O, expandable to 256, and is programmable for the company`s graphical development environment based on Windows 95/NT.
