Land Instruments International forms new joint venture in India

SEPTEMBER 6--Land Instruments International (Dronfield, England; www.landinst.com), a noncontact temperature-measurement and thermal-imaging specialist, has realigned its business alliance with Eurotherm DEL India Ltd., part of the UniDEL Group, with the formation of Land DEL Infrared Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture company.

SEPTEMBER 6--Land Instruments International (Dronfield, England; www.landinst.com), a noncontact temperature-measurement and thermal-imaging specialist, has realigned its business alliance with Eurotherm DEL India Ltd., part of the UniDEL Group, with the formation of Land DEL Infrared Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture company. Land DEL Infrared will provide complete sales, service, and support for the entire range of Land infrared temperature, thermal, and process imaging products to customers in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The joint venture will provide greater access to technical and marketing support for both infrared temperature measuring systems and application know-how based on more than 58 years experience in the field of noncontact temperature technology. The service includes engineering and applications expertise, calibration, and after-sales support, and turnkey engineered solutions using localized components--all through a geographically spread network.

The joint venture has its headquarters in Mumbai, India, with a fully equipped temperature-calibration laboratory providing support for the already large and growing number of installations in the Indian market. Offices in Chennai, Kolkatta, and New Delhi also provide regional sales, service, and support functions.
