Industrial scanner reads DPM codes on various surfaces and materials
Datalogic’s new PowerScan family of industrial scanners are designed specifically for applications based on codes printed with direct part marking (DPM) technology. The PD9530-DPM model features omnidirectional reading from contact to over 1.0m, soft white light illumination, Motionix motion-sensing technology, and an ergonomic shape that provides hours of data collection for the user. In addition, the PowerScan PD9530-DPM includes Datalogic’s latest decoding software. The PowerScan PD8590-DPM imager can read codes on plastic, metal, wood, rubber, leather, and glass, and its included software can automatically cycle different illumination modes to find optimal reading conditions.
