The PXI-3980 is ADLINK’s first quad-core PXI embedded controller, which features an Intel Core i7-2715QE 2.1 GHz processor with up to 16 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 memory. It also features a dual BIOS backup to reduce maintenance costs, multiple interfaces for connecting and controlling a variety of standalone instruments, user-friendly access design, and support for hybrid PXI-based testing system control. ADLINK’s new PXI-3980 also features dual USB 3.0 connections, four USB 2.0 ports for peripheral devices and USB instrument control, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports—with one for LAN connection and the other for controlling LXI instruments.
