Keyence releases Time of Flight laser sensors

Keyence’s LR-T series of reflective laser sensors utilize Time of Flight detection and comes with a custom integrated circuit, which provides a sampling rate of approximately 8GHz. The sensors are suitable for use in a number of factory automation applications.

Keyence’s LR-T series of reflective laser sensors utilize Time of Flight detection and comes with a custom integrated circuit, which provides a sampling rate of approximately 8GHz. The sensors feature a detection distance of 0.06 to 5m (0.02 to 16.4’), a 660 nm red laser light source, an IP 65/IP67 enclosure (Depending on the model), an operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F), and an adjustable angle mounting bracket. LR-T laser sensors are suitable for use in general conveyor systems, robotics, automated warehousing, welding cells, transfer presses, metal assembly, and other factory automation applications.
