Background suppression photoelectric sensors from Carlo Gavazzi allow for distance detection and a distinction between a target and its background and are suited for use in packaging, material handling, and food and beverage applications.

Background suppression photoelectric sensors from Carlo Gavazzi allow for distance detection and a distinction between a target and its background. Available in PA18 and PH18 housings, (IP67 and IP69K) the sensors feature an active pixel sensor CMOS array consisting of 64x1 sensors, where each pixel represents a specific position of the detected object. The sensors are designed to avoid any false detection caused by lighting of electromagnetic interference and are suited for use in packaging, material handling, and food and beverage applications.
