The PR-G series of general purpose stainless steel photoeye photoelectric sensors feature a metal housing instead of the traditional plastic, so the sensors are able to withstand damage and provide detection even in harsh environments, as verified from third-party certification from ECOLAB and Diversey. The sensors are also high-powered, as evidenced by an integrated four-element LED with an increase in the gain of the received light intensity, which reportedly enables the sensors to achieve a maximum detecting distance of 30 meters.
