As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our readers for choosing Vision Systems Design throughout the year, as well as wish you a happy holiday season. 2014 was a whirlwind of a year. From the VISION show’s first occurrence in the biennial cycle, to the launch of our Innovator’s Awards Program, the year has just seemed to zip by. Throughout the months, it has been a pleasure to provide content for our audience. We’ve covered quite the range of topics this year, and we hope that along the way, you found what we published to be helpful, interesting, and/or informative. In another (forthcoming) slideshow, I took a look at the lead article as well Andy Wilson’s editorial from each month of the year. This provides an interesting look at what was going on throughout the year, and in my opinion, may provide a fascinating look back years from now, to see how things have changed or remained the same.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to those who have been sending us content ideas and new product releases throughout the year. I strive to stay up to date on the latest product releases, new technologies, and relevant industry headlines, so whenever someone goes out of their way to send me something, it is received with much appreciation.
