• Webcast takes an in-depth look at machine vision standards

    A new free-to-attend webcast from Vision Systems Design will bring together some of the industry's most knowledgeable specialists to discuss the developments of standards in the machine vision industry.

    A new free-to-attend webcast from Vision Systems Design will bring together some of the industry's most knowledgeable specialists to discuss the developments of standards in the machine vision industry.

    In the webcast, Bob McCurrach, Director of Standards Development for the Automated Imaging Association (AIA; Ann Arbor, MI, USA), will be joined by the association’s chairs for the Camera Link HS and USB3 Vision committees.

    McCurrach will begin by discussing the current status of global vision standards. Following that, the chairs of the Camera Link HS and USB3 Vision committees, Mike Miethig and Eric Gross, respectively, will delve into the details of these new standards, presenting the latest developments and updates.

    Finally, McCurrach will touch on the CoaXPress (CXP) camera interface standard.
