ACS hosts first machine-vision trade show in Atlanta

JANUARY 13--The recently opened Georgia Aquarium (Atlanta, GA) will be the venue for the first annual Atlanta machine-vision trade show (Tuesday, Feb. 21, 5--10 pm), sponsored by Advanced Control Solutions (ACS; Marietta, GA; www.acs-ga.com).

JANUARY 13--The recently opened Georgia Aquarium (Atlanta, GA) will be the venue for the first annual Atlanta machine-vision trade show (Tuesday, Feb. 21, 5--10 pm), sponsored by Advanced Control Solutions (ACS; Marietta, GA; www.acs-ga.com). The event will focus on the use of machine vision in industrial automation applications. Following a tour of the aquarium, a keynote address will be offered by James Hoffmaster, president & chief operating officer of Cognex Corporation.

Representatives of ACS and each Cognex business unit will be present to demonstrate features and answer questions about the newest advancements in ID, In-Sight, DVT, and Checker products. Select partners approved as Certified Systems Integrators for Cognex/DVT brands will be on-site to address integration issues. Participating vendors will include Advanced Illumination, Alpha Integration, CCS America, Factory Automations Systems, Fujinon, Navitar, Opto 22, Spectrum Illumination, and Stocker Yale
