JUNE 23--Optical Gaging Products (OGP; Rochester, NY; www.ogpnet.com) has relocated its western region technology center to Tempe, AZ. This facility is equipped to support sales, applications analysis, and training for its western region customers and to act as a single-source location for all their dimensional measurement needs.

Says western region sales manager Chuck Marks, "Greater Phoenix is a fast-growing, high-tech area, with many industries that require the type of multisensor measurement offered by OGP systems. Additionally, our Tempe location provides economical, convenient, and direct access to the western United States, western Canada, and all of Mexico."

The recently remodeled 8000-sq ft facility has an expanded OGP demonstration room that displays models from the entire range of OGP systems with ample space for customer application studies. Two separate multipurpose rooms with LCD projectors for classroom-based product training and/or regional sales meetings are also available. More than a half-million dollars worth of OGP metrology equipment is resident for customer demonstrations, including high-accuracy SmartScope Quest 250 and 600 models, popular SmartScope Flash 200 and 500 models, value-leading SmartScope MVP, rugged Focus 14-inch Contour Projector, and the laser scanning solution SmartScope Lazer.

Optical Gaging Products is an innovator in noncontact and multisensor dimensional measurement systems, optical comparators, and laser surface scanners for manufacturing quality control. Since its establishment in 1945, OGP has delivered thousands of measurement systems to manufacturing companies worldwide.
