SEPTEMBER 26, 2007--In the last few weeks of FY2006/2007 (October 1 to
September 30), ISRA VISION (Darmstadt, Germany), a supplier of industrial image-processing technology, has seen its surface vision business division show a clear revival in incoming orders. In the last four weeks, the ISRA group received orders valued at €7.3 million, a large part of which will be billed before the end of the current fiscal year and will therefore impact the net sales and earnings for the year.

While the industrial automation business division already grew strongly in the first three quarters, the surface vision business division is now also receiving increasing numbers of orders again. The majority of the orders received in the last four weeks can be attributed to the plastics sectors and the new strategic growth areas of metal and paper.

Enis Ersü, ISRA chief executive officer, comments, "The past few weeks have seen the incoming orders trend also increase in our largest business division, surface vision. In increasing numbers, customers are setting the seal on their interest in our technology and products by placing orders."
