AUGUST 9--Optel Vision, provider of packaging-line inspection solutions in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetics industries, announced the opening of a US-based office. The office will be situated in Georgia and will be managed by one of Optel Vision's senior sales managers, Pierre Turcotte.

Turcotte's responsibilities will still include providing sales service to the Southeast and developing strategic partnerships with leading OEMs. Turcotte will now also work with Optel Vision support staff to centralize the deployment of support services from this location.
