Cognex hosts free machine-vision seminars

AUGUST 23--Cognex Corp. (Natick, MA;www.cognex.com) will host a series of half-day seminars demonstrating how new vision-sensor technology can be used to solve automated inspection tasks in the automotive, medical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, consumer products, and electronics industries. Designed primarily for automation engineers, the free seminars will discuss the fundamentals of machine-vision technology and will feature live demonstrations of Cognex InSight vision sensors performing tasks including measuring part dimensions, verifying the correct assembly of components, locating randomly oriented parts, and identifying 1- and 2-D codes on parts.
