Epson Robots makes factory automation more affordable
OCTOBER 29--Epson Factory Automation/Robotics (Carson, CA) is offering a pricing plan that lowers the cost of robot automation. The "We Make It Easy Prices" plan offers new customers discounts up to 30% on the company's robots purchased and shipped between now and March 31, 2002.
"US manufacturers know they must continue to invest in automation to reduce their costs and increase their yields so they can remain competitive in a global market. The current economic slowdown has reduced the amount of monies they have available to make these investments. Our new plan gives manufacturers a lower-cost way of continuing these necessary programs," said John Clark, national sales manager of Epson's Factory Automation Robotics Division. "These new prices reduce the costs of robots, making it easier for new customers to implement much needed robot automation."
Epson has more than 17,000 installed units worldwide and has offices in Asia, Europe, and North America. This equipment is used in the manufacturing of automotive, biotechnology, consumer, electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, photonics, semiconductor, and telecommunication products.
