X-ray inspection system manufacturer InspX has moved its headquarters and manufacturing facility into a new Fremont, CA location. According to InspX, the move offers 30% more production and office space to allow for engineering expansion.
Company president Allan Anderson notes that the more central location in Silicon Valley will enable access “to the Bay Area’s top talent” and the facility’s size will support further x-ray inspection system developments and technology growth.
Adjacent to San Francisco Bay, the facility will house manufacturing operations for products such as the ScanTrac digital inspection system line -- tools designed for a variety of food, beverage, and drug packaging applications. InspX's full range of inspection tools includes high-speed, side-view systems for bottle and can inspection, belt systems for cartons and bulk products, and pipeline systems for fluid inspection.
InspX was formed in July 2004 by Peco Controls, combining Peco's experience in product inspection with the development and application of x-ray technology. The company was formed to serve growing interest from food and pharmaceutical companies for quality assurance equipment that ensures the safety and integrity of consumer products requiring the interior inspection provided by x-ray vision.
