APRIL 21, 2009--Metal-packaging provider Impress Group (Deventer, the Netherlands; www.impressgroup.com) has teamed up with Applied Vision (Akron, OH, USA; www.appliedvision.com) to integrate vision inspection systems into its new plant in North America. Applied Vision designs and manufactures application-specific machine-vision inspection systems for packaging, food and beverage containers, and color printing. The Genius vision inspection systems will cover multiple easy-open end manufacturing lines for food cans.
