The Universal Store is an automated system used in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries for managing laboratory samples and compounds. The In-Sight vision sensors will be used to read Data Matrix codes etched on each sample vial. The codes enable the Universal Store system to automatically store and then retrieve individual vials when those samples are required for testing.
Cognex In-Sight 5600 series vision sensors help manufacturers achieve significant improvements in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. The 5603 model adds the highest resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels) available in the In-Sight product line and offers a full library of vision tools for guidance, inspection, gauging, as well as identification.
