DECEMBER 7, 2007--As a commitment to its customers and employees, Seidenader Maschinenbau (Munich, Germany; www.seidenader.de), a supplier of automatic inspection machines for the pharmaceutical industry, has decided to extend its current facility to a total of 4.800 square meters of office space and technical laboratories and 5.000 square meters of assembly area, which means doubling the current capacity. This will allow Seidenader to respond quicker to customer needs, bring down delivery times further, and provide facilities for research and testing of new products.

"Our machines are not only becoming much faster, but also consume more space on the production floor. Furthermore the integration of multiple machines and entire packaging lines has made it mandatory to increase the assembly area and the office space for mechanical design and PLC programming," stated Rainer Abeltshauser, technical director of Seidenader Maschinenbau. With this expansion Seidenader's workflow will be optimized to reduce delivery times and ensure systematic quality management even at times of high work loads.

By the end of 2008, Seidenader plan to have a facility for 300+ employees, which makes them one of the largest players in the area of automatic inspection for pharmaceutical products.
