Nine-bit ADC runs at 30 Msamples/s With an on-board track-and-hold and reference, the AD9049 monolithic sampling analog-to-digital converter (ADC) digitizes at 30 Msamples/s from a single +5-V power supply. Features include a TTL/CMOS-compatible encode clock and signal-to-noise ratio of 53 dB through 10 MHz. CMOS outputs are configurable for +5-V or +3-V digital interface, and the high-impedance analog input is internally biased for capacitatively coupled applications. The AD9049 ADC is specifi

The AD9049 ADC is specified over the standard industrial temperature range of -40oC to +85oC and is available in 28-pin surface-mount SOIC and SSOP packaging. The AD9049 costs $11.25 in quantities of 1000. An evaluation board is also available. Analog Devices, 804 Woburn Street, Wilmington, MA 01887; (617) 937-1428.
