Automatic 3-D measurements
An automatic three-dimensional (3-D) measurement system, the Vision Master couples measurement technology with a Windows-based user interface. Developed for semiconductor inspection, the system can perform measurements of solder-paste balls, ball-grid arrays, and other PCB features. In operation, an object is placed under the VisionMaster`s 3-D camera and the measurement and reference areas are selected. VisionMaster calculates the characteristics of the selected measurement areas including volume and average height. Optional Verax Systems software allows operators to control the production process.
