JANUARY 21--At the Bus and Board Conference in Long Beach, CA, BittWare Inc. (Concord, NH; www.bittware.com), a supplier of Sharc-based DSP boards, announced record growth for 2001. Despite the downward trend in the electronics industry, BittWare's sales in the USA and Canada for 2001 were up 40% over its 2000 sales figures, and its international sales grew nearly as much, increasing 38%.
The largest single growth territory in 2001 was in the United Kingdom. The company's top international distributor, Sarsen Technology (Malborough, Wiltshire, England) increased sales 99% in the United Kingdom in 2001. A member of BittWare's international sales team since 1999, Sarsen provides embedded data acquisition, digital signal processing, and telecom platform packaging solutions.
