Rack-mountable LCD is now available

DECEMBER 18--Dimension Technologies Inc. (DTI; Rochester, NY; www.dti3d.com), a manufacturer of 3-D flat-panel displays and producer of commercially available 2-D/3-D switchable flat-panel displays, has made its 18.1-in. 3-D LCD available in several rack-mount versions. Arnold Lagergren, president of DTI, noted that "these new products and 3-D component kits are designed for use in applications such as military and security markets, arcade games, and R&D. I am pleased that we are able to offer these 2-D/3-D switchable flat panels in configurations that allow mounting in a standard 19-in. rack."

The new rack-mountable products are available in two versions. The 3-D components kits include the 2-D/3-D flat panel, circuit boards, cabling, and control panels and are targeted at manufacturers who are already experienced in rack-mounting equipment and wish to incorporate DTI 3-D technology into their own products.

The rack-mount version of the display includes all components noted above plus the frame and hardware required for mounting the display in a standard 19-in. industrial rack. Drawer slide versions are also available to provide easier access to rear panel I/O and power connections.
