JULY 23, 2008--Motoman (Dayton, OH, USA), a provider of robots and complete robotic solutions, is relocating its Detroit Regional Center from Wixom to Rochester Hills, MI, effective July 1. The nearly 15,000-sq ft Rochester Hills facility includes offices, sales and service support, training, a larger demonstration lab, a manufacturing area for small robot systems, and spare parts storage for local customers. Motoman's Detroit Regional Center will continue to operate under the direction of Glenn A. Jackson, vice president automotive OEM and Great Lakes Region.

"The move makes access more convenient for the majority of our automotive customers, as well as many of our targeted customers and integrators," Jackson said. "The City of Rochester Hills is actively growing its base of high-technology businesses as part of a continuing economic development plan that makes the new location for Motoman's Detroit Center even more attractive," he continued.
