JULY 31--Trident Exhibitions Ltd. has announced that a system-integrator zone will be a new feature at the IPOT, Machine vision and Displays Technology exhibition at the NEC Birmingham (14—15 February 2007). The system-integrator zone, supported by the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA), will provide a platform for integrators to have a presence at the IPOT event for a minimal cost. Participants will have a link on the show Web site, preview entry, a poster site within the exhibition, and a catalog entry. This dedicated area will be positioned to benefit from the collocation of the show alongside Machine Building, Drives & Automation, which is supported by the British Automation and Robot Association.

Says Don Braggins of the UKIVA, "System integrators already visit the show but have previously found the stand cost prohibitive. The UKIVA supports this initiative as it will encourage members and those not involved in system integration to take part in this machine-vision industry event."

For more information on the system-integrator zone or IPOT, Machine Vision and Displays Technology, events, contact Marlene Carr, show manager, via e-mail: [email protected] or visit www.ipot.co.uk.
