DENSO Robotics Introduces New b-CAP Ethernet TCP/IP Control Protocol
Allows control of robot by PC or PLC

LONG BEACH, Calif. — DENSO's new b-CAPTM Ethernet TCP/IP option gives users direct control of a DENSO robot and peripheral devices by means of a PC, PLC or other control device, whose familiar interfaces and common programming languages result in reduced development time and cost.

In addition to a PC or PLC, b-CAP enables the robot to be controlled by any other device that supports Ethernet TCP/IP, such as a vision system, smart phone, etc., extending the range of automation-system design possibilities.

"Our company's philosophy is to constantly make improvements," said Peter Cavallo, robotics sales manager, DENSO Sales California. "Our new b-CAP feature is the latest in a long series of such improvements, with the goal of making things easier for our customers and reducing their costs."

The new b-CAP Ethernet TCP/IP protocol is featured on the DENSO Robotics Web site at www.densorobotics.com/products_software_b-CAP.php.
