Sensor Control appoints new president of North American office

SEPTEMBER 18, 2007--Sensor Control has appointed Robert Hogarth president of its North American office.

SEPTEMBER 18, 2007--Sensor Control (www.sensorcontrol.com) has appointed Robert Hogarth president of its North American office. Hogarth comes to Sensor Control with more than 20 years of experience in factory automation. The new office, located at 50740 Princess Way, Granger, IN, USA, will provide sales, service, system integration, engineering, and training.

Sensor Control is a supplier of vision systems for industrial robots and automation processes. The company started as an offspring from ASEA and later ABB robotics in the early 1980s. In the late 1980s the company was sold to three employees. The company is now part of the Jubo Mechatronics AB group in Karlskoga, Sweden.

Specializing in vision systems and robot guidance, Sensor Control has delivered its robot vision and guidance product, OptiMaster, to more than 500 clients in more than 40 countries.
