Making sense of commercial stereo 3D sensors

Vision Optronix published a paper comparing the geometric optical performance for 16 commercially available stereo 3D imagers.
Dec. 11, 2020

Vision Optronix published a paper comparing the geometric optical performance for 16 commercially available stereo 3D imagers (pictured) and provides a set of relationships useful for specifying and/or selecting stereo 3D imagers for specific applications.

To compare geometric optical performance, the paper uses a specific framework developed in the paper and provides a discussion of how parameters related to specific stereo 3D applications.
