If you are building an intelligent vision system, knowledge of the human eye could be useful. On this site, the authors describe the pathways used by neurons to code visual signals and how the structure of the retina is related to its coding function. Because the site contains movies and animation, you will need Navigator 3.0 with QuickTime plug-ins to make the most of it. These can be downloaded from this site.
