Philippe Fauchet, professor and chair of the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Rochester (NY), has been elected a fellow of the American Physical Society and the Optical Society of America. He is also a professor of optics, senior scientist at the university?s Laboratory for Laser Energetics, and director of the Center for Future Health.
