3-D printer generates polyester models
The lightweight Genisys Xs printer delivers 3-D images of parts up to 12 x 8 x 8 in. on a modifiable polyester material that can be sanded, drilled, and painted. Occupying 36.5 x 32 in., it includes a built-in clock to track design time, a user alert for routine maintenance, and the Linux operating system. Network capabilities permit print-queue viewing and Web-browser access.
