The KP-F2 progressive-scan shutter, black-and-white camera uses a 1/3-in. microlens IT CCD with a peak sensitivity at 800 nm and useable sensitivity above 1000 nm. Providing 7.4-μm square pixels, the CCD presents a 658 x 496-pixel resolution. A multistep electronic shutter can select shutter speeds in eight steps from 1/60 to 1/8000 s. Featuring a S/N of 50 dB and sensitivity of 30 lux at ƒ/1.4, the camera weighs 170 grams and measures 44 x 44 x 87 mm.
