A/D board does ultrasound, radar applications
With 8-bit resolution, the PDA500 PCI-based digitizer can capture waveform frequencies to 500 MHz. Available with 1 or 4 Mbytes of on-board memory, the PDA500 provides two input channels and a multiplexer to select one of the two channels as the digitization source. In operation, a digitally controlled attenuator adjusts the input voltage range in 2-dB steps from 200 mV pk-pk to 3.0 V pk-pk. The connection of up to four PDA500 boards in a master/slave configuration enables master clock and trigger signals to drive the slave, which allows synchronized data samples on multiple boards. The Signatec Auxiliary Bus provides connections to signal processors or data-storage devices. For single-event acquisitions, the PDA500 features a single-shot mode that allows pretrigger, normal, or delayed trigger storage. For multitrigger acquisitions, segmented triggering is used.
