New director named
National Instruments Corp. (Austin, TX) has elected Ben Streetman, dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, to the company`s board of directors. Streetman holds Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a fellow in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Electrochemical Society, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and has served on committees for the National Science Foundation and the National Research Council.
