Positioning stage features submicron resolution

Designed to operate in clean rooms, the Z8 is a z-axis positioning stage. The stage is based on a three-piece wedge design that allows access from the sides. Horizontal and vertical motions are guided by precision crossed-roller bearings, creating a structure free from side play. The stage is actuated by a linear motor that provides sub-0.1-mm resolution.
