Tungsten halogen light source provides stability Using a 150-W tungsten halogen lamp, the 3900 light source uses a dc-regulation scheme to provide real-time compensation for lamp degradation, power-line fluctuations, and changes in ambient temperatures. The unit also incorporates an RS-232/485 interface, allowing for computer control of up to 32 light sources from a single COM port.
