• A/D converters suit imaging systems

Two 12-bit analog-to-digital converters target high-speed, high-resolution imaging applications. The ADC 12081 operates at 5 Msample/s and the ADC 12181 runs at 10 Msample/s. They deliver a linearity of 0.35 LSB and 0.40 LSB, respectively, provide 10.5 effective bits at Nyquist sampling rates, and digitize analog input signals in the range of zero to 2 V. Both units come in a 32-lead TQFP. The ADC 12080 costs $9.95, and the ADC 12181 costs $11.00, both in quantities of 1000.
