NEC Technologies Inc. (Itasca, IL), a manufacturer of LCD flat-panel desktop monitors, has slashed the prices of its MultiSync LCD Series monitors. The cost of the 20.1-in. MultiSync LCD2000 has been reduced by $1400 to $6599, an 18% decrease. Two 14.1-in. active-matrix flat-panel diplays, MultiSync LCD400 and MultiSync LCD400V, now carry prices of $1899, a 30% reduction, and $1599, a 20% reduction, respectively.
