Camera adds functionality
Ladybug2 is an enhanced redesign of the company's Ladybug spherical video camera. It features an increased maximum frame rate of 30 frames/s and enables full-frame image streaming directly to a PC. The system's head unit and solid-state compression unit are connected via a fiberoptic cable, and an IEEE-1394b interface connects the compression unit to the host computer. The camera head transmits six 1024 x 768 uncompressed Bayer tile images and features a maximum frame rate of 15 frames/s uncompressed. Before images are sent to the PC they can be JPEG-compressed.
