Epson Robots finishes fiscal year with record sales
APRIL 21--Epson Robots (Carson, CA) recently announced record North American sales and unit shipments for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005. Net sales increased 165% over the previous fiscal year, and net robot shipments yielded similar results.
"Our people, robots, and related automation products continue to exceed customer expectations," said Michael Ferrara, director of Epson Robots. "The Epson RC420 and RC520 PC-based controllers with Epson RC+ software continue to gain market acceptance as the easiest to use in the industry. Our Vision Guide sales are booming as more users discover the benefits of Epson's easy-to-use robot vision-guidance package. The wide variety of SCARA, Modules, and 6-axis models that EPSON offers means that users can select the right robot for their application versus being forced into one-size-fits-all situations. In 2005 we will build on this momentum by introducing more new products and entering exciting new markets."
